ACOUSTIKIT ABSORPTION PANEL is a very effective option in the presence of excessive room reverberation, unwanted sound reflections, and noise reduction applications.
Long reverberation times make intelligibility within a room a difficult task to achieve, causing the masking of low level sounds.
Sound reflections produce coloration to the sound due to cancellations by comb filtering effect.
Reverberation and reflections, when combined with the original sound, contribute to the increase of loudness. Noisy places not treated can be really disturbing. The
ACOUSTIKIT ABSORPTION PANEL provides great absorption characteristics for any untreated room with a styled finishing.
The
ACOUSTIKIT ABSORPTION PANEL core is made of fiberglass, one of the most effective absorbers with superior performance than ordinary acoustic foams. A great variety of colors (up to 36 standard colors) can be chosen from our Color Sample Catalog.
The
ACOUSTIKIT ABSORPTION PANEL standard dimensions are 2'-0" (0.61m) wide by 4'-0" (1.22m) high. Custom panel sizes and thickness can be manufactured upon request. Please contact

The
ACOUSTIKIT ABSORPTION PANEL installation can be implemented to any wall via customized "J" Type clips. Two pairs of clips per unit are supplied. A real panel size template with pre-drilled holes is also provided in order to accommodate mounting hardware locations. (Please refer to schematic for mounting details.) An optional ceiling mount is available if units are meant to be installed in a standard 4'-0" (1.22m) by 2'-0" (0.61m) hanging ceiling structure. |
